The Fellow Farms Project began in 2022 when the Inmaculada Coffee team sat down with coffee farmers in their area to talk about their current difficulties. The farmers described their declining yields due to climate change.
「Fellow Farms」計畫始於2022年,當時Inmaculada Coffee團隊與當地咖啡農坐下來,探討他們當前的困境。咖啡農們描述了氣候變遷導致的咖啡產量下降。
From here, a project was launched whereby Inmaculada would buy small batches of cherry at an increased price from these farmers and process them in their world-class facilities to produce coffees that could be sold on the specialty coffee market.This meant the farmer's coffees could ultimately fetch a higher price and their standard of living would increase. This is know as the Fellow Farms Project.
由此,Inmaculada 啟動了一個項目,以更高的價格從這些農民手中收購少量咖啡果,並在其世界一流的設備中加工,生產出可以在精品咖啡市場上銷售的咖啡。這意味著農民的咖啡最終可以賣出更高的價格,他們的生活水準也會提高。這個項目被稱為「Fellow Farms 計畫」。
Today, they work with farmers that span over 60 hectares of land in the Tambo,Piendamó and Caldono regions. This coffee is balanced and tasty.
